2013 Survey of Municipal Officials and Owners on Impediments to Using Collaborative-Delivery Methods for Water and Wastewater Projects

Following on a 2012 research study on Customer Satisfaction vis-a-vis design–build and construction management at-risk (CMAR) delivery methods for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, WDBC recently completed a survey to further explore the range of impediments to collaborative delivery methods faced by professionals working in the water and wastewater industry.

The results:

  • Define where the most impediments exist in using collaborative-delivery methods within utilities and agencies, and
  • Identify possible solutions that address the impediments to employing collaborative-delivery methods for capital projects.
