Research Shows Growth in Water Design-Build Sector

At the Design-Build for Water and Wastewater Conference in Minneapolis last week, WDBC released the first-ever research report on the use of design-build delivery in North America.  This important product identifies the historic trends of growth in both size and number of design-build water/wastewater projects from 2013 through 2017. It also forecasts potential capital outlays on design-build for water and wastewater projects through 2021. The analysis identifies the 2017 design-build market by the type of project – e.g., treatment and distribution, as well as the top 10 states in which they will occur. During the conference, audience participants also engaged in an interactive survey to present their views. Additional data is being produced by the WDBC on this work within the coming weeks.
