WDBC Leaders Present at Water Infrastructure Financing Conference

Financial Silos for Water Infrastructure Projects – what are the answers for municipal agencies? 
This important theme resonated throughout the October 23-24th Water Summit sponsored by American Water Intelligence at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Presiding at three roundtable discussion (SRO), WDBC 1st Vice President David Kinchen and Linda Hanifin Bonner (Executive Manager) illustrated how the use of design-build delivery methods successfully addresses the financial silos experienced in the industry. WDBC Completes New Research Study on the Use of Progressive Design-Build Delivery

In 2012 the Water Design-Build Council produced a new Procurement Guide for Progressive Design-Build Projects for use by the water industry for infrastructure projects. The WDBC also released the findings of a separate research study reporting that legislative statutes in 13 key states randomly selected throughout the United States were a serious impediment to furthering the use of progressive design-build as a delivery method for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

WDBC Releases 5 New Guideline Documents for Use with Water Design-Build Infrastructure Projects

Focusing on the subjects that owners and managers tell us they “want to know more about,” the WDBC’s new guideline documents expand upon principles and practices that facilitate a successful water infrastructure project using collaborative delivery methods.
