WDBC Formally welcomed ARCADIS-US as a member company, and its representative Joseph A. Lauria, P.E. to the Board of Directors

As a Senior Vice President and National Design-Build Leader for the Water Division of ARCADIS U.S., Inc. Mr. Lauria has more than 30 years of sucessful experience in the direction and management of technical, marketing, engineering and financial elements within the water/wastewater business segment for Malcolm Pirnie and subsequently ARCADIS U.S., Inc. A Diplomate of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, he developed Malcolm Pirnie’s national Capital Project Delivery guidance document, establishing procedures to implement innovative and alternative delivery methods, as well as traditional project delivery methods, for water and wastewater projects. He has been responsible for over $1.5 billion of capital projects from New York to California, and is currently leading active design-build projects for ARCADIS-US throughout the U.S.; specifically as the Project Director for ARCADIS’ role as contractor’s engineer for the design-build of the Carlsbad Seawater Desalination Facility, the largest seawater desalination facility in the western hemisphere.  The work is being constructed by a joint venture of Kiewit Corportation and J.F. Shea Construction and has a total design, construction and financing budget in excess of $900 million.

CAROLLO Engineers becomes a full member with John Doller as Board Member

DollerJohnAs a senior vice president with Carollo Engineers, Inc. located in Phoenix, AZ, John has 30 years of experience in the evaluation, design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout the US. He currently serves as the national director of project delivery overseeing all program management, construction management, and alternative delivery projects for the company. 

Carollo Engineers is an environmental engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. Carollos reputation is based upon client service and a continual commitment to quality. They currently maintain 28 offices in 12 states. During their 75-year history, Carollo has successfully completed more than 15,000 projects for public-sector clients. Carollo is currently ranked within Engineering News Records (ENR) top 100 design firms.

 


 

WDBC Board Directors Approves New Member Category identified as an “Allied Member", this new category and encompasses firms having engineering and design expertise and annual revenues not less than $20 million from water and wastewater project services. An Allied Member is a firm who is either currently working, or has engineering capabilities to work in some capacity on design-build or CMAR water or wastewater projects.
