The Water Collaborative Delivery Association is pleased to announce the addition of Michels as a new advisor member. We look forward to their engagement in our mission.

Boris Veleusic, PE
Senior Manager Joining WCDA as the advisor representative for Michels is Boris Veleusic. Boris is a senior manager at Michels, focusing on business development, preconstruction, and
collaborative delivery. Boris’s experience includes work on heavy civil, transportation, and water projects throughout the US over his 22-year career in engineering and construction. He has extensive knowledge of collaborative delivery models including design-build, progressive design-build, CMGC, and P3.
Boris has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Projects delivered under construction management at-risk (CMAR) and progressive design-build (PDB) contracts are becoming more common in the US water sector. Each method offers opportunities for an owner to accelerate schedule, collaborate more effectively with a project team, facilitate early consideration of construction issues, and receive insight into project cost. There are many similarities between these two delivery methods, but PDB offers one major differentiator: an opportunity for the owner to transfer additional risk.
General Contractor/Construction Management (GC/CM) companies (Respondents) are invited to submit Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for the preconstruction services and potential construction services for the Post Point Resource Recovery Plant Project (Project) EU189 in accordance with the Heavy Civil Construction process of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 39.10.
